Zygomaticotemporal Nerve Block. It travels with the infraorbital artery and vein.it branches from the maxillary nerve in the pterygopalatine fossa and travels through the inferior orbital fissure to enter the orbit. Hyperlacrimation may be due to excessive triggers of the tear reflex arc or from efferent parasympathetic fiber overstimulation.

Hyperlacrimation may be due to excessive triggers of the tear reflex arc or from efferent parasympathetic fiber overstimulation. A large sensory root which proceeds from the lateral part of the trigeminal ganglion & almost immediately emerges out through the foramen ovale & a small motor root which passes below the ganglion, & unites with the sensory root just outside. Lesions may affect the nervus intermedius, greater superficial petrosal nerve, sphenopalatine ganglion, or zygomaticotemporal nerve.

It innervates a small area of the forehead and temporal area. The maxillary division is represented by the infraorbital and zygomaticotemporal nerves. Greater occipital nerve (c2) comment:
Supraorbital Nerve Block (眼窩上神経ブロック) Surgical Operation (外科手術) Tenon's Capsule (テノン嚢).
Inappropriate lacrimation can occur with the gustolacrimal reflex, described below. Hyperlacrimation may be due to excessive triggers of the tear reflex arc or from efferent parasympathetic fiber overstimulation. The ophthalmic division is represented largely by the supraorbital and supratrochlear nerves.
For Each Nerve Block, Practical Anatomy, Indications, Technique, And Type Of Complications Are Specifically Described.
It is a form of regional anesthesia. A nerve block is a procedure in which an anesthetic agent is injected directly near a nerve to block pain. Nerve injury posterior to the lateral canthus line can be repaired by grafting or neurorrhaphy.
The Occipital Nerves Are A Group Of Nerves That Arise From The C2 And C3 Spinal Nerves.[1][2] They Innervate The Posterior Scalp Up As Far As The Vertex And Other Structures As Well, Such As The Ear.[2] There Are Three Major Occipital Nerves In The Human Body:
• the zygomaticotemporal nerve is one of the two branches of the zygomatic nerve that arise from the maxillary division of the trigeminal nerve. The greater occipital nerve (gon), the lesser (or small) occipital nerve (lon), and the third (or least). Lesions may affect the nervus intermedius, greater superficial petrosal nerve, sphenopalatine ganglion, or zygomaticotemporal nerve.
A Complete Maxillary Block Is Not Often Necessary.
The infraorbital nerve is a branch of the maxillary nerve (cn v 2), itself a branch of the trigeminal nerve (cn v). The inferior alveolar nerves supply sensation to the lower teeth,: 519 and, via the mental nerve, sensation to the chin and lower lip.
